One question<\/span><\/strong> : when, in our human community, we have helped define the actions that each must take, for the good of all, who to blame if we do not do our part as it should and as agreed?<\/p>\n

One certitude<\/span><\/strong> : what we, Daughters and Sons of Africa<\/strong>, we are not doing and \/ or we do not want to do for OUR CONTINENT<\/strong>, no one is going to come from elsewhere to do it for us.<\/p>\n

A reminder<\/span><\/strong> : 22 years ago, in the year 2000, the 3rd millennium began. All the peoples of the world, freely, unanimously, have decided to act against poverty and the evils which still undermine all of humanity.<\/p>\n

From September 6 to 8, 2000, at the headquarters of the United Nations (UN) in New York, the “Millennium Summit<\/strong>” was held in the presence of the highest decision-makers from 189 Member States.<\/p>\n

They adopted the “Millennium Declaration<\/strong>” including the following “Eight Millennium Development Goals<\/strong>” (MDGs), confirmed by the “World Summit<\/strong>” held on September 14-16, 2005 at the UN:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.<\/li>\n
  2. Achieve universal primary education.<\/li>\n
  3. Promote gender equality and empower women.<\/li>\n
  4. Reduce child mortality.<\/li>\n
  5. Improve maternal health.<\/li>\n
  6. Combat HIV\/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases<\/li>\n
  7. Ensure environmental sustainability.<\/li>\n
  8. Develop a global partnership for development.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If progress has been made, experts noted, already in 2010: \u201cHalfway through the 2015 deadline, the record of the Millennium Development Goals is uneven and we are faced with nothing less than a development emergency.<\/strong> (\u2026) If current trends continue, it is likely that no African country will achieve all of the goals.<\/em>“<\/p>\n

    At the end of these 10 years of the MDGs, in fact, much remained to be done.<\/p>\n

    From September 25 to 27, 2015, at the UN, world leaders adopted 17 global sustainable development goals<\/strong>, detailed in 169 targets<\/strong>, to better understand them all and “transform our world<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

    The official website of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs or 2030 Agenda<\/strong>) states that they are “a call to action from all countries – poor, rich and middle-income – to promote prosperity while protecting the planet.<\/em>“<\/p>\n

    This second plan, over 15 years, until the horizon 2030, therefore aims to “eliminate poverty, protect the planet and improve the daily life of all people, everywhere in the world, while opening up prospects for the future.<\/em>“<\/p>\n

    How many Africans, knowing how to read, have read this document which, however, puts us all on a mission, invites us to mobilize and act in three areas: global action<\/strong>; local action<\/strong>; and an individual action<\/strong>? Have we read the text of the MDGs?<\/p>\n

    African States have almost all drawn up their National Development Plans modeled on these SDGs. Have we read, do we know how our leaders want to achieve these goals beneficial for all humanity and therefore, necessarily, beneficial for each of us?<\/p>\n

    If, until now, we have not read this 2030 Agenda<\/strong>, then we do not know that we must act, we can act<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Africa<\/strong>, despite some progress made, remains a poor continent where misery and despair reign.<\/strong> Tragic and violent proof: the thousands of Africans who perish in the perilous crossing of the Mediterranean Sea.
    \nAnd yet, since 2005, the combined plans, MDG<\/strong> and SDG<\/strong>, over 25 years, had to avoid this.<\/p>\n

    But here we are, at the beginning of the year 2022. There are only 9 years left. The countdown has begun.  <\/p>\n

    What to do?<\/span><\/strong> We have read and reread this 2030 Agenda<\/strong>. It is a wealth of ideas and opportunities that should not be overlooked any longer. Of course, to benefit from the treasure of the SDGs, we all need to act.<\/p>\n

    ACT, here and now<\/strong>, so that tomorrow it is not too late, for us, for our children. ACT, choose innovative solutions<\/strong> that will help us make up for lost time.<\/p>\n

    Hence the creation of “Saigloin-Africa<\/strong>” \u200b\u200beducated by our studies in economics, our teaching experiences, in politics, our trips to 33 countries and the mission of Ambassador of Ivory Coast assumed for ten years in Iran; with the privilege of being Dean of both African and French speaking groups.<\/p>\n

    “Saigloin-Africa<\/strong>” \u200b\u200bis therefore a digital platform created to ACT<\/strong> and PROMOTE<\/strong> all of Africa, in its rich diversity. Our mission: to help you find solutions, everywhere, thanks to the POWER OF GLOBAL BROADCASTING OF THE INTERNET<\/strong> and OUR NETWORK OF RELIABLE PARTNERS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    We will publish in the following 15 languages: English<\/span>; French<\/span>; Arab<\/span>; Portuguese<\/span>; Spanish<\/span>; Russian<\/span>; Chinese<\/span>; German<\/span>; Japanese<\/span>; Hindi<\/span>; Indonesian<\/span>; Persian<\/span>; Turkish<\/span>; Korean<\/span><\/strong> and Italian<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

    These languages are either official languages in Africa, or official languages of the United Nations system, or languages of the rich countries of the G20, or even the most spoken languages on the Internet.<\/p>\n

    Africans from Africa and the African Diaspora around the world, let’s mobilize, let’s act to obtain results!
